I've been riding my wooden snowboard a lot this year in backwoods, but I haven't gone off trail on a real mountain yet. Just small hills and apple orchards and such :)

-JamesAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01013321460318408995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262995617277834152.post-70014438357155002882013-09-13T07:52:54.056-04:002013-09-13T07:52:54.056-04:00Great post. Took a few skiing lessons in Canmore and now taking a few lessons on avalanche safety training just cause it came recommended. :D Hopefully with some practice, I'd be able enjoy the same exhilaration that I often hear about from others and read about in blogs like these. Keep sharing. :)Al Sharphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02290069161873157725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262995617277834152.post-50456191422370575982013-05-17T21:58:54.306-04:002013-05-17T21:58:54.306-04:00Thanks, Harv! Thanks, Harv!Matt Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12574226609273931466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262995617277834152.post-48745135418926550622013-05-17T00:27:41.997-04:002013-05-17T00:27:41.997-04:00Fantastic pictures. I've had to mostly put bc on the back burner for the past decade (family), but it's something I look to return to with the kids as they get older. In the meantime, I've got the woods around our house to kick and glide when the snow is good.Jeff Farbaniechttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17687600943158149486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262995617277834152.post-84299501456749646412013-05-10T21:02:04.144-04:002013-05-10T21:02:04.144-04:00Love to see where the east coasters backcountry sk...Love to see where the east coasters backcountry ski. You have some beautiful terrain out there! I attempted to summit Mt. St. Helens the other day, but the snow was too soft and we turned around at 6000 feet. Had a wonderful ski back down though!
